Here you can enjoy a cup of Bali coffee or ginger tea sitting under a privatized gazebo, and admire a magnificent amphitheater of rice terraces. On the way back discover the famous wholesale road (more than 7km) where you will find absolutely all Balinese handicrafts at wholesale prices. You can then have lunch in an organic restaurant lost in the middle of beautiful rice fields where the pleasure of the taste buds will naturally join that of the eyes … In the afternoon, walk in the nature reserve of Monkey Forest in the middle of hundreds of macaques in freedom. You can discover them in their natural and daily space in the middle of a lush forest that was the center of Ubud a few decades ago. End the day at the Ubud market where everything is mixed, sarongs, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs, before returning to United Colors of Bali.

Jatiluwih & Batukaru

Just a few hours from Canggu, set off to discover a more authentic side of Bali, between the stunning Jatiluwih Rice Terraces and the peaceful atmosphere of Pura Luhur Batukaru. From scenic walks through UNESCO-listed landscapes to cultural immersion and lush nature, this getaway is perfect for a refreshing day escape. Departure at 8:30 a.m. for the interior of the island along pretty and typical back roads to reach the emblematic Leke Leke waterfall. Continue on to the Jatiluwih rice fields. These rice terraces are Bali’s most emblematic (classified as a Natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO). You’ll discover the ingenious Subak irrigation system and admire the breathtaking panorama. Take a break at a local’s home to try Santi’s cuisine (to be paid at the restaurant), with a breathtaking view of rice terraces as far as the eye can see.

Lac Bratan & Jatiluwih

On the way, you will stop at the Leke Leke waterfall, a small lost paradise before arriving at one of the most photogenic temples dedicated to the goddess of water: the Ulun Danu. The day continues to Jatiluwih where there are stretches of rice fields classified as Natural Heritage of Humanity by Unesco. You will be overwhelmed by the view that offers itself to you. These rice terraces are the most emblematic of Bali. Several routes will be offered to you, you will simply follow the signs and go to meet the Balinese who grow their rice. Meeting guaranteed! Enjoy your lunch in one of the small warungs of your choice and take in the view.
On the way back, pass by the hot springs (air panas), which come straight from the volcanoes. You will dive there in sulfurous water on the mountainside in the middle of the local population… In the past, Bratan was the largest lake in Bali until an earthquake divided it into three, forming the lake of Bratan, Buyan, and Tamblingan.

Uluwatu & Jimbaran

A day between cliffs and coastline in southern Bali, exploring Uluwatu and Jimbaran, both located on the Bukit Peninsula, about 45 minutes to 1 hour from Canggu. In Uluwatu, you will visit the well-known Uluwatu Temple, a Hindu temple set on a cliff over 70 meters above the ocean, offering wide views across the southern coastline. You can also attend the Kecak dance at sunset (optional), a traditional Balinese performance held in an open-air setting. Then head to Jimbaran, a former fishing village known for its calm beach, where you will enjoy a seafood dinner right on the sand in a relaxed, local atmosphere. This morning, you leave for the peninsula of Bukit and Uluwatu where a staircase lined with frangipani trees will lead you to the entrance of the sacred temple of Pura Luhur Uluwatu. Perched on an 80 meters cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean, you can visit the temple surrounded by guardians “on four legs”. Afterward, discover the surfers’ village dug into the cliff and enjoy a local tea or coffee while watching the surfers glide over 4-meter waves and out of the long tubes that break. Don’t miss the descent in the cave, the mythical departure of the surfers, between cliffs and the current. Continuation by the beach of Balangan where you will enjoy a moment of relaxation on the deckchairs between waves and cows, to finish your novel or admire the surfers. Lunch in a local warung facing the ocean. Nap or swimming is possible. At the end of the day, leave for Jimbaran with its fishermen and fishing boats. You will discover behind the fish market the local warungs where, you will choose directly your fish or shellfish from the stall and it is at the edge of the water in the light of the candles and the sound of a local group, that you will taste the whole, grilled in the bark of coconut, accompanied by a soup of rice, vegetables, and a salad of fruits. A romantic evening guaranteed!

Day trip to Nusa Lembongan

Set off on a paradise getaway to Nusa Lembongan, surrounded by white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and untouched nature. This day blends adventure, relaxation, and exploration, with snorkeling, mangrove discovery, and breathtaking scenery. In the morning, a driver will take you to Sanur harbor to catch a fast boat to Lembongan. After just 30 minutes, you’ll arrive on a stunning beach surrounded by fishing boats, turquoise water, and white sand—an idyllic panorama awaits you! You’ll hop on a scooter and head to Mangrove Point, where Captain Gede, a local fisherman, will welcome you aboard his traditional boat to explore two snorkeling spots. Let yourself drift with the currents as you swim through coral formations and crevices, discovering a vibrant underwater world in crystal-clear water. Swimming among schools of colorful fish is a truly unforgettable experience. Continue your morning in the mangrove, where you’ll enjoy the calm and serenity of this peaceful and magical place. For lunch, you can eat at your guide’s local warung, where freshly caught fish of the day, grilled in banana leaves, will delight your taste buds. Spend the rest of the day exploring the untouched island, with its deserted beaches, hidden coves, and scenic paths through palm groves—you’re guaranteed a complete change of scenery. You can also visit the Ceningan peninsula and its famous yellow bridge, or for the more adventurous, try cliff jumping at the edge of the island—landing in turquoise water 13 meters below!
