These two markets are located on either side of the Badung River in the heart of Denpasar. The first one, Kumbasari, proposes in its basement the traditional market, as well as small warungs and on the floors, all types of handicrafts, spices, textiles, objects in bamboo… The second, Badung, is the largest and oldest market in Bali. Open 24 hours a day, it offers everything: consumables, household items, textiles, and many other things used in Balinese life… The smells mix in this typical place where wholesalers come to buy. Possible visit to the bird market, where animal lovers will find all kinds of animals (monkeys, bats, snakes…).

Tanah Lot & Pupuan
Set off to explore western Bali on a day filled with culture, scenic beauty, and authentic encounters. From the majestic Tanah Lot temple to the lush rice fields of Pupuan, with relaxing moments overlooking the ocean, this excursion immerses you in the natural beauty and cultural richness of Bali. About 20 kilometers west of our resort is the famous Tanah Lot temple which is one of the most beautiful sites on the island with its unique location on a large rock that is practically covered at high tide.You will enjoy the colors of the early morning and the few tourists who invade the site at 10 am to stroll on the path of the cliff to discover the auxiliary temples. A small moment of relaxation at the end of the cliff to admire the view of the ocean. Go to discover the road of Pupuan and its beautiful rice fields.You can meet the Balinese people who harvest their rice. They will be delighted to show you their work in the rice field and will bring you to their humble home for a drink of friendship.Not far from there, you will be able to stop for lunch in a panoramic restaurant where the plenitude is equal to the landscape. Before leaving, enjoy a magical moment, and relax by the pool at the bottom of the rice terraces. Then, enjoy the last walk in the middle of this green paradise before returning to the United Colors of Bali.
